Music for Meals ft. Elizabeth Moen

“Elizabeth (Moen) is armed with a jaw-dropping singing voice, tasteful guitar playing, and songs that stay in your head for days.”
- Iowa Public Radio

Elizabeth Moen, an Iowa musical legend-in-the-making, will headline this year's "Music for Meals" benefit concert--an event designed to raise vital funds needed to help the Coralville Community Food Pantry continue to transform Coralville into a place that is free of hunger.

Guests will enjoy food, drinks (wine & beer available for purchase), a stellar silent auction, and live music showcasing the likes of Moen and other talented local artists. This year's event will be held at North Ridge Pavilion in Coralville, to create a more intimate atmosphere.

Tickets are $20/person. Groups of 8 can reserve a VIP Table for $200, which includes 8 complimentary drink tickets, and 8 silent auction $5 coupons.

Free Community Meal

On Friday, February 9 from 5:30-7:00pm, the Coralville Community Food Pantry will host a free Community Meal at the Coralville Rec Center.

The meal, which will showcase healthy and affordable ingredients, will be prepared by several community volunteers using the Coralville United Methodist Church kitchen. Several fun activities for kids, including a bounce house, giant yard games, and a stuffed animal walk, will be provided by Coralville Parks & Recreation staff in the Rec Center main gym.

The goal of the meal is to provide a free and delicious meal while creating a greater sense of solidarity among Coralville residents. In 2017, the food pantry held three community meals—two at the Coralville Public Library and one at the Coralville Rec Center.

All Coralville residents are invited to attend the meal. For those interested in assisting with cooking, serving, set-up, or clean-up, sign up below:
