Every spring, a miniature forest blooms on the forest floor in the window of warmth and sunlight before the woody giants put out their leaves. These are the spring ephemerals. Here one minute and gone the next and you do not want to mis them.

On top of the beauty, there are food everywhere. Join us for a walk in the woods to take in the gorgeous blooms and learn how to identify some of the edible plants that surround us.

This fun and engaging walk will be led by our Associate Director Hai Huynh, an amateur forager, and enthusiastic foodie. This event is targeted toward foraging beginners of all ages and backgrounds.
