The Coralville Public Library and Coralville Community Food Pantry are teaming up to host a Welcoming Week Free Community Meal on the Library’s front lawn. All are welcome!
The goal of the meal is to cultivate solidarity within our community by sharing a nourishing meal with our neighbors. The meal will feature chili, cinnamon rolls, various sides and dessert. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available. Bring a blanket or chairs to eat on the Library Lawn; fun activities for all ages and live music by the Family Folk Machine will serenade your ear as you enjoy a meal with your neighbors.
From September 12-21, 2025, Coralville is celebrating Welcoming Week, an annual campaign that invites communities around the globe to host events that deepen understanding and connection among community members.
Many hands are needed to make this event a success! We need help with food prep, serving, set-up, clean up (especially important!), and we also need community members to help bake or purchase cinnamon rolls! Click the link below to sign up.
